Celebrating 25 Years of Hosting Magical Weddings!
Harrisburg Magazine’s Simply The Best Readers’ Choice 2021 for
Event Venue, Event Coordinator, and Wedding Planner

This is the beginning of your history.

On your wedding day, step back in time as you walk down the aisle at the historic, award-winning Peter Allen House. Steeped in rich history, the home dates back to 1726 and is featured on the National and Pennsylvania State historic registries.

This elegant, mountain stone landmark, situated on mostly wooded acres, surrounded by several semi-formal outdoor garden rooms with cascading ponds and bridged waterways, has been graciously hosting weddings for 25 years.

Voted by the readers of Harrisburg Magazine’s Simply The Best Readers’ Poll as the Best Wedding Venue for 20 consecutive years, the Peter Allen House’s award-winning facilities can accommodate anywhere from 2 to 275 guests.

The grounds boast handsome outdoor structures, including a carriage house, a 2-story stone stable, a timeless stone gazebo, and a quaint, picturesque honeymoon cottage. Throughout the seasons, the property abounds with foliage and flowers spring up and around the gazebo, overflowing the many large urns and climbing up and over the trellises and arbors.

Whether you’re getting married by the pond or romantically by the large iron gates overlooking majestic mountains in the distance, the Peter Allen House is considered by many as the perfect wedding site. Your hosts, Frank and Barbara Pinto, invite you to visit their home anytime to experience firsthand the splendor of one of Central PA’s unique treasures.
